Pokémon Compare
Compare two Pokémon side by side
Frequently Asked
How does the Pokemon comparison tool work?
Select any two Pokemon to compare their base stats side by side. The tool shows HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed with visual bars, plus BST totals, types, and which Pokemon is faster or stronger.
What does BST mean in the comparison?
BST (Base Stat Total) is the sum of all six base stats. It gives a quick measure of a Pokemon's overall raw power. Higher BST generally means stronger Pokemon, though competitive viability depends on stats distribution, typing, and moveset.
What does 'Faster' mean in the Pokemon compare tool?
The 'Faster' badge shows which Pokemon has a higher Speed stat. Speed determines turn order in battle — the faster Pokemon attacks first, which can be crucial in competitive play.
Can I compare shiny Pokemon?
The comparison tool shows standard artwork. For shiny variants, use the main generator's shiny toggle or the Pokedex detail page.
How accurate are the base stats shown?
All stats come from the official Pokemon data via PokeAPI. Base stats are the raw values before IVs, EVs, nature, and level modifiers are applied.
